The Palmetto Telegraph news sheet was inaugarated in August 2004 to augment the existing communications to the SCHPA membership. The full newsletter of the association is called the Court Chatter. This publication has become increasingly costly and time consuming to edit, print and mail. The Palmetto Telegraph will concentrated on important information with little graphics or photos. It will be limited to 2 pages so that it can be printed front and back on a single sheet of paper.
The Palmetto Telegraph contains sections for each officer or tournament director to include a small message to the membership. We have not determined if the schedule will permit it to be published by-weekly, monthly or less frequently. When published it will be distributed electronically through the SCHPA_friends email group and given directly to members at the tournaments. It will be sent out on Wednesday so that Tournament Directors can print it for distribution on Saturday.
